Home School Liasion Scheme

November 24, 2014

At Coláiste Clavin, we have a Home School Community Liaison (HSCL) Scheme. The HSCL scheme builds vital links between the school and the home and  we strive to support parents in their role as the primary educators of their child(ren).

A message from our HSCL

My name is Grace Coyne, and I am the appointed Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator in Colaiste Clavin. My role is to act as a bridge between the home and the school, and my focus is on your child’s education.

My main role is to work with you the parents/guardians, along with the teacher and wider community to enhance your son/daughter’s learning opportunities and promote attendance, participation and retention in school.

I am here to help and support you in whatever way I can around issues that may impinge on your child’s attendance, participation and retention in school.

I look forward to meeting and speaking with you over the coming years, and if you have any concerns or issues that you feel I might be able to help you with you are encouraged to contact me on 087 7781958 during school hours.

For latest updates on our parents’ workshops please note information will be sent out via school App.
