Ms Purcell and Mr Gorry brought their 1st Year Geography Students to visit Dunmore Caves outside Kilkenny City where they saw several dripstones formed by the Process of Carbonation. The caves are also home to several species of bats and it was a site of a Viking massacre. After they went to view the impressive Kilkenny Castle.
