Last Thursday 5th Year Geography Students visited the Burren and Black Head in Co. Clare. While there they visited Alliwee Cave that is home to several calcite structures including stalactities etc. They also visited Black Head that had a huge limestone pavement down to the sea and had evidence of isostatic movement. Pictured are some of the 5th Years in the Cave and at Black Head. Thankfully the weather was great so Students could appreciate the picture postcard landscape of Co.Clare.
