Our senior football team recorded a comprehensive victory against Athboy Community School on Tuesday 1st of December in Dunganny. Playing against a strong wind in the first half we still managed to get to the half time whistle a point to the good. In the second half we asserted control around the middle third and eventually ran out comfortable winners. They were many fine performances on the day most notably from Jamie Boyle, Eoin Gaddren, Jamie Smyth, Niall Mulvey, Thomas Coloe, Gavin Griffith, Will Flynn and Kean Flynn. All substitutes who entered the fray made big impacts, most notably Nigel Leonard who scored a fantastic point with the outside of his right foot! We now go forward to play in the North Leinster Semi final, due to be played early in the new year, against the winners of Gormanston College and Colaiste Na hInse who are due to play next week.
