3rd Year History Students today visited the 1916 Exhibition in the GPO in Dublin. The visit was quite poignant since it was exactly 100 years ago today the GPO and the rebels inside were under fire from the British and the gunboat the Helga and their rising seems a lost cause. However it was the beginning of the end of British rule in Ireland. The Students enjoyed the guided tour and they found it informative.
