The Green Schools Committee are working alongside Travel Officer Lorraine Flanagan to try to achieve the Green Schools Travel Flag. Members of the Committee conducted a travel audit in Longwood in November and Lorraine held a follow up session in February in Longwood so that the Committee could write up a report to be sent to Meath County Council about safe travel in Longwood such as putting in correct road crossings, speed signs and encouraging safe travel through the village.
