The 1C  English Class took part in the annual Francis Ledwidge Poetry Competition within LMETB.  First at School Level the winners were Toto Omokri in 1st Place with her poem ‘What’s Happening?’; Sophie James came 2nd with her poem ‘Standing Alone’ and Orlaith O’Reilly came 3rd with her poem ‘Memories.’ They then went forward to the LMETB Presentation day along with their English Teacher Ms Tiernan which took place in Slane Castle on Tuesday April 20th. The three students were presented with certificates, along with Students from Schools across LMETB, in the beautiful surroundings of  Slane Castle. They are pictured along with the School’s Young Historians.
