U-16 hurlers had a great win over St. Pats of Navan recently. In a very well contested game Colaiste Clavin came out on top on a scoreline of 5-7 to 3-9. We led throughout after a blistering start which left the scoreline at 2-2 to 0-0 after ten minutes. St. Pats put up a very good fight for the remainder of the game but a strong finish gave Longwood the win. Best on the day were Cian Brennan, Scott Douglas, Alan Lewis, Kean Flynn and Ross Kerrigan. Cole Flynn however stole the show with a man of the match performance from corner back. The team are now in the Meath semi-final against Athboy Community College.
