10 week typing challenge

February 8, 2019

Following a 10 week typing challenge with 2nd Year classes, Mikolaj Suchomski (78wpm), Eamonn Reilly (72wpm) and Slu Zaka (66wpm) achieved the best score in their groups, and Avril Coyle and Mikolaj Suchomski showed the best improvement in their groups. Mikolaj and Eaminn are pictured with the “Ten fast fingers” programme opened behind them in the Computer Room. A typing speed above 40 WPM (Words Per Minute) is higher than the average score. An average professional typist types usually in speeds of 50 to 80 wpm. Well done to everyone who took part.
