Colaiste Clavin would like to congratulate Longwood GAA Football Intermediate Team on their County Final win against Ballinlough on Sunday in Pairc Tailteann. Past pupils who have represented our school teams throughout the years were the backbone in the win on Sunday. Great displays were given by 10 past pupils on the field during the game; Ryan Moore, Evan Coyle, Coran Byrne, Karl Ennis, Aaron Ennis, Chris Lynch, Anthony Healy, Damien Healy, Sean Sheridan and Niall Mulvey. Ryan Moore needs to be given special recognition, he scored 7 points helping the team win. They brought home the Mattie McDonnell Cup to Longwood for only the second time in the clubs’ history and the first since 1942.
