A group of parents and community participants began a 4 week flower arranging course with Tutor Mary Owens arranging/spring planting course this morning in the school. This course is a LMETB community education funded course and is offered free to parents and interested members of the community. Le Cheile woodwork students were hard at work this term creating hand crafted picture frames to display their favourite games, TV shows and characters. Students demonstrated excellent attention to detail which is evident from the high standard of craftsmanship.

 Ms. Glynn’s 5th Year Mini-company class attended the educational workshop hosted by “The Chocolate Warehouse” in Dublin. The visit consisted of an informative talk on the organization and the work practices of a modern food manufacturing business in addition to a thought provoking account of the opportunities and challenges facing the confectionary industry in Ireland,

Staff and students from Le Cheile visited Cullentra Farm in Longwood where they fed the animals and had a lovely cup of tea in the farmshop. All enjoyed their time on the farm.
