The U16 Footballers took part in the Oliver Coogan blitz,  the blitz was held in Dunganny outside Trim

Our senior soccer team beat Columba College Killucan 6-2 in the first round of the U19 FAI Leinster Schools ‘B’ Cup. The scorers were Jamie Boyle, Amir Curran, Basit Sanni and Gavin Griffith scored 2.    

Today the Principal presented Liam Cullen Moran 5A with a special plaque in recognition of him achieving the best Junior Cert Results in his Year Group. Liam sat the Higher Paper in all his subjects and achieved 5As and 4Bs.

The 3C CSPE Class took part in the Conservation Module run by Dublin Zoo on Friday with their teacher Ms Murray. Endangered species are at risk due to habitat loss from deforestation and poaching. Dublin Zoo is part of the European Zoo Breeding Programme for endangered species.  

5th Year History Students went to see “Anthropoid” in Vue Liffey Valley. The film tells the story of how the Czech Resistance assassinated SS General Reinhard Heydrich. Today 6th Year Geography Students visited Howth to carry out their Geographical Investigation that is worth 20% of their Leaving Cert. They were blessed with lovely weather while they carried out their activities on coastal deposition and transportation.

Congratulations to Ben McLaughlin in 1st Year who took part in the Learnstorm Ireland Finals in Dublin Castle Saturday the 21st of May. It was a great opportunity to work with other Junior Students on challenging activities including building robots, guitars and catapults as well as taking part in many mental mind activities and quizzes throughout the day.
