The 2B CSPE Class got to visit the busiest Garda Station in Ireland and while there they learnt about the work of the Gardai inside and outside the Station. They also got to met members of the ASU and learn more about their work and see all their weapons.

As part of Wellbeing week the whole School participated in Drop Everything and Colour (DEAC) which is mindful colouring to help reduce stress. A talk was given by Graham Mulhern of BeSecureOnline and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th year Students attended their own session. It was organised by HPS as part of Wellbeing Week and covered topics ranging from social media, privacy settings, online bullying and sexting to online profiles and reputation.

Members of the Green School Committee attended the Green Schools Expo on Thursday the 22nd February in the R.D.S. with Ms Shine. The Expo showcased the different themes that Green Schools works with such as litter and waste, energy, water and travel. An enjoyable and informative day was had by all.
