On Friday 6th Year Geography Students with their Teacher Ms. McKenna carried out their Geographical Investigation on geomorphic processes in the coastal environment of Howth, Co. Dublin. Their Investigation carries 20% of the marks for Leaving Cert Geography.

On Thursday the 14th of September our Sixth Year students travelled to the Irish Times Higher Options in the RDS. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their future studies by meeting directly with representatives from universities, colleges and education institutions from Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond.

A big thank you to the 5th Years who came in during their summer holidays to train up as Mentors for the 1st Year Students. Principal Ms Deegan presented the Mentors with their badges on completion of their training. They had a busy 1st week this week welcoming and helping 1st Years settle into Colaiste

Members of the Jigsaw Team and Home Economics students created green food on Sports Day to support Green Ribbon Day. The Student Jigsaw team organised the launch of the “green ribbon” which symbolises ending the stigma around mental health. 

Fifth year Home Economics students gave up their lunchtime twice a week to create beautiful fascinators during final term. They thoroughly enjoyed using their hand craft skills to produce this millinery work.     

On Thursday the 24th of May the first cohort of Coláiste Clavin students graduated under the new school name and in the new school campus. The evening was one of celebration of student achievement and endeavor within Coláiste Clavin. A great evening of celebration took place in the school hall. Fr. Michael Kilmartin blessed the students

5th Year Mentors were rewarded with a trip to Go Quest in Finglas for all their efforts this year in helping the 1st Years settle into Coláiste Clavin.
