The 2A CSPE Class visited Pearse Street Garda Station, which is the busiest station in the country. While there they got to learn about the work of the Gardai and spoke with different units e.g. Drugs etc. They got to see Big Brother is watching all the time with access to the multiple CCTV screens

The girls won their Semi-Final against Sacred Heart which got them to the North-East Leinster Final, which is a first for Longwood girls basketball team. Ms Shine’s 3A CSPE class visited the Irish Aid Centre. The students learned about development in the world and took part in an interactive workshop about life in a village in Malawi. The Irish Aid Centre has an Aid Programme that helps to reduce poverty and hunger particularly in Sub Saharan Africa.
