Both 5th Year Biology Classes went on an Ecology Trip with their teacher Ms Evans to the Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo. Ecology is part of the Leaving Cert Biology Course.

The 1C  English Class took part in the annual Francis Ledwidge Poetry Competition within LMETB.  First at School Level the winners were Toto Omokri in 1st Place with her poem ‘What’s Happening?’; Sophie James came 2nd with her poem ‘Standing Alone’ and Orlaith O’Reilly came 3rd with her poem ‘Memories.’ They then went forward to the LMETB

Today six History Students from 1st Year represented the School at the Young Historian LMETB Competition in Slane Castle. Each LMETB School was allowed six representatives at the competition. The event covered a 25 minute film explaining in detail the history of chocolate and how it is manufactured. 1st Year Geography Students visited Kilkenny along with their teachers Ms Purcell and Ms Coyne. They went to Dunmore Cave which is home to a series of chambers formed over millions of years.
