In January there was a 2 hour workshop with MR O’Connell in an attempt to rewrite the 1916 Proclamation for a new generation. The Proclamation for 2016 emphasises equality, tolerance and the voice of the young person. The workshop was part of the ongoing 1916 centenary celebrations in the school. Second Year Home Economics Students along with their Teacher Ms McCoy oragnised a fundraiser on Pancake Tuesday in aid of the Children’s Hospital in Tallaght. They made loads of delicious pancakes to sell.
